What does it mean to be sustainable?
Businesses claiming to be sustainable can be referring to quite different things and unfortunately the term itself has become so 'buzzy' that it doesn't mean a lot without the full story behind it so I wanted to share with you what *we* mean about sustainability when we mention it in relation to our products and business specifically.
It adds so much meaning to a purchase when we know how something was made, with what and by whom and when these align with our own values it's a match made in heaven!
Limited collections and timeless designs
We are committed to small batch manufacturing and limited collections which not only means your piece is really special but helps ensure we don't over produce.
Designing timeless pieces means our pieces can be added to your sustainable wardrobe and won't go out of fashion.
Natural materials
Our fabrics are 100% natural linen and linen/cotton blends. Natural fibres are both renewable and biodegradable. In the future we would love to use fabrics with a larger component of recycled fibres as this technology expands and improves.
Our printing partner has invested in technology leading the way in sustainable textile colouration. All chemical and colourants used in the printing process are Oeko-Tex approved and by using pigment ink they utilise no water and have no waste ink during the printing process.
The leather used in our straps is naturally vegetable-tanned and is is a by-product of the meat industry.
Manufacturing locally
Keeping our manufacturing in Australia not only helps us retain the highest standard of quality but also reduces our carbon footprint by minimising transportation and fuel usage.

The highest quality materials and hardware are used to ensure products are both beautiful and made to last.
Thoughtful packaging
When you order something from us it arrives wrapped in:
- Tissue paper that is compostable, recycled, FSC certified and printed with soy based inks
- With a sticker that is biodegradable and made from paper pulp made from certified well managed forests
- With a thank-you card printed on 100% post-consumer recycled papers
Our shipping boxes are recyclable and we are in the process of switching over to paper tape. The boxes are plain and therefore easily re-used.
